Welcome

Welcome to the county’s oldest natural history organisation, founded in 1869.

Join us and play a valuable part in looking after Norfolk's wildlife.

You do not need to be an expert. An interest in the natural world is enough.

Our main aims are:

  • Research to improve our knowledge of the county’s flora and fauna
  • Protection of endangered species by recording changes in the presence of species
  • Education in all aspects of the natural sciences through field meetings and lectures
